Hans Achtziger
Hans Achtziger, whose creations have consistently fulfilled the diverse desires of porcelain buyers and collectors for the Hutschenreuther Group, worked for over 50 years, most recently as head of the Lorenz Hutschenreuther Art Department. This modeler, sculptor, and artist, who, as an apprentice under Karl Tutter in 1936, designed his first porcelain sculpture, a sparrowhawk. After 1948, he modeled more than 150 figures as a ceramic sculptor in the Lorenz Hutschenreuther Art Department in Selb, and developed his service designs to series production.
